The Global Health Council's Photography Contest is dedicated to drawing attention to health issues that have a global impact and to celebrate this year's conference theme,
New Technologies + Proven Strategies = Healthy Communities.

Amateurs and professionals alike are invited to submit selections of their work which clearly illustrate the theme of the Council's conference, as well as its core issues of women's health, child health, infectious diseases, HIV/AIDS and emerging health threats. In particular, members working in the field are highly encouraged to share success stories.

The winner will be invited to display their work at the Council's 36th Annual Conference in Washington, D.C. and will appear in Global Health Council publications and electronic media.

Post-Graduate Fellowship (PGF) - The Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME) at the University of Washington  This link will take you to another Web site.
The PGF Program is for individuals with graduate-level training and a strong quantitative background to conduct in-depth, methodological research on a variety of global health topics with the mentorship of faculty and senior researchers. Through research, training workshops and mentorship, the program is intended to enhance the analytical skills of future academics and professional leaders in the field of global health measurement and evaluation.

IHME aspires to make available to the world high-quality information on population health, its determinants, and the performance of health systems. We seek to achieve this directly, by catalyzing the work of others and by training researchers as well as policy makers. Our goal is to improve the health of the world’s populations by providing the best information on population health.
