| U.S. Guidelines on Prevention and Treatment of Opportunistic Infection in HIV-Exposed and Infected Children and the separate companion document for Adults, which includes considerations in pregnancy | |
| These documents have been in preparation for over a year, since we have a meeting last June to develop them. They have been endorsed by the NIH, CDC, and Infectious Disease Society of America, HIV Medical Society, and Pediatric Infectious Disease Society. The PAMAB staff were very involved in the development of these recommendations which have taken a lot of work over a long time period; I was the Executive Secretary for the pediatric document, and Jennifer and Rohan (and Leslie Serchuck when she was here) were active contributors to the pediatric document; Heather wrote the sections in the adult document related to pregnancy issues. | |
