New web resource for HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, malaria

GlobalHealthReporting.org: The new Web site, which is operated by the Kaiser Family Foundation with major support from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, is designed to help journalists -- as well as others in the global health field -- efficiently search the latest and most accurate information on HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria. The site offers news summaries, links to new reports and data, country-focus pages, reporting resources for journalists and a calendar of upcoming events from around the world.

FIC Bioethics Training Programs  This link will take you to another Web site.
The Fogarty International Center currently supports 18 programs
worldwide to provide graduate training opportunities in international bioethics related to performing research in developing countries
(http://www.fic.nih.gov/programs/bioethics/bioethicsaward.html).

Trainees may include postdoctoral behavioral or biomedical scientists,
physicians, dentists, nurses, midwives, ethics review committee
members, hospital directors and health policy makers as well as
ethicists or philosophers with no prior experience in
biomedical/clinical research. Other FIC programs are encouraged to
collaborate on short courses or workshops and send trainees to the
bioethics training programs with a similar country or regional focus (see website for a complete list)
